ABOUT DANIEL

Hi! My name is Daniel and I am a photographer. Since a young age, I knew I “had an eye” for photography but I never really knew I loved it until I got a drone for my 28th birthday. Since then, I have taught myself how to shoot, edit and grow a community of people who share their love for my city the same way I do.

Kansas City in Photos (@kansascityinphotos) is how you can find me on Instagram. Every day, you will see a new photo, a new reel, a new video or a #KansasCitian. I am a tourist in my own city and I love showing everyone what an amazing place the Paris of the Plains is. Background:

I was born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico. However, at age 19, I transferred colleges to attend the University of Missouri - Kansas City where I played soccer and graduated with a degree in Journalism.

After graduating, I worked as the Director of Media/PR Operations for FC Kansas City (now the KC Current) and the KC Comets, as well as managing Sporting KC’s Spanish social media channels.

One day, I decided to quit my job, sell my car and all my belongings and travel the world for a year. In 365 days, I visited 33 countries before coming back to KC and settling down to co-found Next Guest KC, an Airbnb Management and Cleaning Company.
